Concept2 RowErg Indoor Rowing Machine with PM5 Monitor – Standard Legs
The Concept2 RowErg with Standard Legs is an indoor rowing machine built for full-body cardio and endurance training. It is suitable for home gyms, garages, fitness studios and commercial training spaces. Each stroke works the legs, core, back and arms together, making rowing a low-impact way to train both strength and cardiovascular fitness in a single session.
The RowErg with Standard Legs is the current name for the model previously known as the Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower. It keeps the same proven design, with a sturdy frame, a smooth aluminium monorail and a quiet, consistent rowing action.
Air resistance with adjustable damper
The RowErg uses a flywheel-based air resistance system. The harder and faster you pull, the more resistance you feel, so the machine adapts naturally to your effort level whether you are warming up, doing steady-state work or performing high-intensity intervals. A damper lever on the flywheel housing lets you change how much air enters the flywheel, allowing you to adjust the feel of each stroke to suit your training style.
PM5 performance monitor
The included PM5 performance monitor provides clear, accurate workout data on a backlit display. It shows distance, time, stroke rate, watts, calories and split times (pace per 500 m), so you can follow your progress stroke by stroke. Workouts can be set as fixed or variable intervals by time and/or distance, or you can simply start rowing and the monitor will begin recording automatically.
The PM5 supports Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, allowing it to pair with compatible heart rate monitors and with the free Concept2 ErgData app. Workouts can be saved to the Concept2 Online Logbook, which can sync with popular fitness platforms. The monitor is mounted on an adjustable arm so it can be positioned at a comfortable viewing angle.
Comfort and fit
An ergonomic, angled handle helps keep the wrists and arms in a natural position throughout the stroke. Adjustable foot stretchers with straps accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes and hold the feet securely in place. The contoured seat glides smoothly along the monorail, and the standard legs provide a seat height of approximately 36 cm (14 inches) from the floor. The machine is designed to fit users with an inseam of up to approximately 96.5 cm (38 inches).
Storage and portability
When not in use, the RowErg separates into two pieces without tools, making it easier to store in smaller spaces. Front caster wheels allow the machine to be tilted and rolled to a new position without lifting the full weight.

Space requirements
The assembled machine measures 244 cm long and 61 cm wide. For comfortable use, allow a floor area of at least 274 cm x 122 cm (9 ft x 4 ft). A floor mat is recommended to protect flooring and reduce movement during use.
